HOW I CAN HELP YOU
Equity Release is the term used to describe taking out a Lifetime Mortgage; a mortgage that is expected to run until you pass away or move into long term care; which you do not have to make payments to if you don’t want to. This can be a fantastic way to increase your income in retirement, go on holidays, treat or help family, pay for care costs or just about any reason you need money for.
There are over 300 Equity Release plans, with ranging interest rates, release amounts, features, benefits and drawbacks. You have to take Financial Advice (That’s me) when releasing equity through Equity Release.
It’s important that you trust your advisor, and they have your sole interest at heart. Having worked with the biggest brokers and lenders for Equity Release; I have extensive experience in delivering great service to all my customers. But best of all I am local to the Lancaster and Morecambe area. Meaning great local knowledge and I’m never far away!
Call me on my free phone number, I’m happy to answer any questions and help guide you through getting the right Equity Release deal available to you.
This is a lifetime mortgage. To understand the features and risks, please ask for a personalised illustration. Check that this mortgage will meet your needs if you want to move or sell your home or you want your family to inherit it. If you are in any doubt, seek independent advice
NO NEGATIVE EQUITY GUARANTEE
All the plans I recommend have a No Negative Equity Guarantee. This means no matter what happens, you can never leave debt to your loved ones when you pass away through an Equity Release Plan.
WHOLE OF MARKET ADVICE
You rarely get the best deal by taking the first offer. Whole of Market advice means I go to every provider to get the right deal for you, without the hassle of you going to each provider yourself.
FEATURES AND OPTIONS
There’s not a one size fits all for Equity Release. There are plans for those repaying early, those who want to make payments, those who want to guarantee an inheritance and more. I will go through the options with you, making sure everything is right for you and be with you every step of the way.
WHY USE ME?
Equity Release is a complex subject. There are hundreds of plans on the market, a range of providers offering different terms, features and rates. You also need to consider whether you want to or can make payments, and consider how this might impact future inheritance or your ability to fund care in future, should it be needed.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA), specialising in Equity Release. Some IFA’s and Mortgage Advisors offer some equity release advice however this is typically a very small part of their business. This means they tend to lack the knowledge or relationships to make your equity release journey as straightforward as possible.
Unlike most other advisors, I’m a member of the Equity Release Council. This is a trade body that helps regulate and supervise Equity Release activity in the UK. This gives all my customers added layers of protection and demonstrates my commitment to providing fair and ethical advice.
WHOLE OF MARKET ADVICE
Some companies are tied to a lender. This means they will not look at the whole market; limiting your options and potentially recommend a deal that is not right for you. I only consider whole of market advice. This means you can rest assured I have found the right plan, tailored to your preferences from all these lenders and more!
